Emily graduated from the University of Newcastle in 2003. She did her hospital training at Hornsby Hospital and Mona Vale Hospital before working in Accident and Emergency at Royal North Shore Hospital. Since working in General Practice she has worked on the Northern Beaches and the Mid North Coast. Emily joined our practice in 2012 and has a special interest in children’s health as well as women’s health. She has completed a Certificate in Sexual and Reproductive Health with Family Planning Australia. When not at work she enjoys family life with her 2 young daughters and regular weekends in the country. Emily works Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays based at The Cottage Surgery.
Catriona graduated from the University of Adelaide in 1995, and completed her general practice training in 2000. Prior to settling on the Northern Beaches, she worked as a GP in Adelaide and the Eastern Suburbs. She enjoys all aspects of general practice, but has a particular interest in women’s and children’s health, and is accredited to provide shared antenatal care. She has three young boys and when not at work, she enjoys an active and energetic family life. Catriona works Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays based at The Corner Clinic
Eliza graduated from the University of Western Sydney, and has worked at Royal North Shore Hospital, Gosford Hospital and Randwick Children’s Hospital. Eliza has a particular interest in women’s health and paediatrics having completed her Certificate in Sexual and Reproductive Health and Diploma of Child Health. When not at work she enjoys swimming, playing netball and spending time with family and friends. Eliza is working Tuesday and Fridays based at The Corner Clinic.
Kiril grew up in the UK and graduated with Honours from Sydney University. He has worked as a GP in Manly Vale since 2001. He enjoys all aspects of general practice but has particular interest in chronic disease management, type 2 diabetes and adolescent health. He is a supervisor and mentor for GP registrars. Outside of work, he enjoys bushwalking, baking and the beach. Kiril works Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays from both The Cottage Surgery and Corner Clinic.
Sylvia was born and raised on the Northern Beaches. She studied Medical Science, Public Health and Medicine at The University of Sydney, and then moved to Wollongong where she worked for 8 years, and undertook General Practice training during that time. She returned to Sydney in 2013. She enjoys General Practice, especially preventive care, and is accredited for Antenatal Shared Care. When not at work she is kept busy with 3 kids and a very spoiled canine. She is working Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays based at The Cottage Surgery.
Gary graduated from Sydney University and has worked over 30 years at The Cottage Surgery. Gary works Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays at The Cottage Surgery. Please ring the surgery directly for an appointment.
We welcome Dr Janet Kitchener-Smith to our team in 2020. Dr Kitchener-Smith was previously working at North Manly. She brings a wealth of experience and will also be providing an acupuncture service. Janet is working Wednesday and Fridays from The Cottage Surgery.
Kathryn graduated from Western Sydney University and spent the majority of her training in Hornsby Hospital, Westmead Hospital and The Childrens Hospital at Westmead. Kathryn has gained additional qualifications in women's health and child health, and has a special interest in dermatology and skin cancer. In her spare time, she enjoys baking and painting, and always enjoys a good coffee. Kathryn is working Tuesdays and Fridays from The Cottage Surgery.
Having graduated from the University if New England, Angela did her hospital training at Westmead Hospital and The Children’s Hospital. She has completed her Diploma of Child Health and is working towards her Fellowship in General Practice. She has a special interest in women’s health, child health and mental health. Angela has a young daughter and enjoys spending time with family and friends. Angela will be with us until August 2020 at The Cottage Surgery.
Annalisse grew up on the northern beaches. She graduated from the University of Notre Dame Fremantle, Western Australia, where she received first class honours. She completed her Internship and Residency at Wollongong Hospital. Annalisse has completed the Diploma in Child Health. She enjoys the variety of presentations seen in General Practice, in particular child health and family medicine. Annalisse is registered to provide antenatal shared care. Annalisse has a young son and loves spending time catching up with family and friends at cafes on the northern beaches. She is working Thursdays, Fridays and takes appointments for alternate Saturday mornings based at The Corner Clinic.
